Halibut Point State Park

Walking all around Halibut Point State Park, I couldn’t stop getting breathtaking views from all directions. These are red and orange leaves of wild brush. If you look at its companion piece, In the Fullness of Time, you’ll see stripes of reddish orange in the upper right corner. Here, we are standing right in the middle of that color and it’s all around us. And trees that live by the ocean have a special character, have you noticed? Hardy, wind-shaped, feisty folks. Gray stones are here to set the scene, but in this piece, autumn color gets to be the star of the show.
