"Winter here in New England is really beautiful just after a snowfall. It is also interesting to look at how snow and ice settle into each other over a period of days and create textures. I just loved the way the snow sunk deeply into this marsh river, creating such a marvelous horizontal surface. The vertical lines of the warm earth tone grasses juxtapose nicely against the cold horizontal lines. There are endless colors to be found in winter if you will only take the extra time to look."
