On my painting retreat to the South Coast of Massachusetts, I found beaches that had beautiful and hardy plant life thriving in the sand dunes. Bright pink beach roses dotted the dark green grasses. Loose brushwork shapes the contours of the dunes. Airy clouds in the cobalt sky were formed with the help of my palette knife.
