Privately commissioned as a gift from a wife to her husband, this piece depicts a lake in Maryland, where the couple owns a summer lake house. The moments of twilight are magical, especially on the water. With upward sweeping gestures and a hope-filled sky, this piece evokes a sense of memory-making and open-ended future times to look forward to as a family.
