This piece was inspired by a painting retreat I took to Martha's Vineyard, an island off the coast of Cape Cod. I sought to capture the unique qualities of this beach called Lambert's Cove: the quiet and shallow water, the foliage so close to the shore, and the overall calming ambiance of this small, secluded treasure.
