Spending time on beaches in the off-season is a great way to go. Nature's beauty takes on a whole new look and feel in the winter season. The autumn and winter colors in this piece remind me of Irish woolen sweaters. Beach grass changes colors throughout the seasons, from emerald green in summer to sienas, tans, and even mauves in the cold seasons. I enjoy the way that snow settles in among sand and beach grass on the dunes.
