The soft-touch covers on front and back are nice to feel as you open the book. The image on the front is from my painting, "Surfside Crest," an image with sweeping brushstrokes and saturated colors. On a dark green back cover, there is a short story about how this painting was inspired by a sketching visit I took to Surfside Beach on Nantucket.
